Your Neighbourhood Association is pausing!

16 Monday Jan 2023

There are currently no volunteers to lead PANA and chair meetings. Both Co-Chair positions are vacant.

If you are interested in learning more about becoming a Co-Chair, please email info@piccadillyarea.ca. We do have people willing to volunteer for supporting roles, if the chair position(s) can be filled.

Unless we have volunteers to lead the organization by Jan. 31, any further PANA activity will be placed on hold as of Feb.1.

This means organizing & running neighbourhood events, sending you this newsletter, and engaging with City Hall on your behalf will all cease.

For the time being, the Facebook group will continue to be lightly moderated. You can find all announcements related to the hiatus on the Piccadilly Area Facebook Page and this website.

On November 2, we held our PANA Annual General Meeting. The first half of the meeting we spent getting to know each other better, “speed-dating style”. Then everyone enjoyed delicious treats from our dessert potluck before beginning the AGM portion of our meeting.

The following exec positions were filled:
Co-Chairs – Lila Neumann & Delilah Cummings
Secretary – Dave Mitchell
Treasurer – Raymond Lam
Website & Newsletter Editor – Marna Fujimoto-Pihl
Business Liaison – Kubet Weston

We are still seeking people for the following positions:

And we are in need of volunteers to help run events, and to distribute flyers to neighbours (dog walkers, we’re looking at you!)

Ward 13 Candidate meet & greet

20 Monday Aug 2018

On Tuesday, August 14 we had the good fortune of having a number of candidates from Ward 13 and Ward 4 meet the neighbourhood at the beautiful new SKYE Health offices on Maitland. It was fairly informal, consisting of the opportunity for personal introductions and Q&A.

One of the key elements of concern discussed was petty crime and safety. This is of no surprise, if you follow our Facebook group, and it was valuable to tell future Councillors in person and hear their and perspectives.
